Since 1995, Li Ping has been working in the Department of Imaging at the Second Hospital of Harbin Medical University, where she has been engaged in clinical and scientific research work. She was the Deputy Director of the CT Diagnostic Department of the Second Hospital of Harbin Medical University, and is currently the Director of PET/CT. She is now an expert in medical accident identification in Harbin. She is the reserve leader of the echelon of leading talents in Heilongjiang Province. She is a youth member of the Thoracic Group of the Radiology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; Deputy Director of the Youth Committee of the Radiology Branch of Heilongjiang Province; Member of the Standing Committee of the Radiological Society of Infection and Inflammation of the Chinese Association of Research Medical Schools; Member of the MDT Committee of the Chinese Association of Research Medical Schools; Director of the Heilongjiang Nuclear Society; Director of the Nuclear Medicine Branch of the Heilongjiang Nuclear Society; Editorial board member of the Journal of infectious disease, JRID. His current research interests include multimodal diagnosis and computer-aided diagnosis of pulmonary nodules. She is the chair of one project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, one project of Education Department of Heilongjiang Province, one project of Harbin City Innovation Fund, and one postdoctoral start-up fund. She has published more than 20 papers in national core journals and 6 SCI papers. She has also published four monographs, including one audiovisual textbook edited by the Ministry of Health. She was awarded the Tianjin Science and Technology Achievement Award in 2005 and the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress of Tianjin Municipal Government in 2006. Received two awards from the Provincial Health Department for new technology. She was awarded the First Prize of Heilongjiang Province Education Research Results.
